The Regulator Bookshop is an independent bookstore in Durham, NC! The Regulator has served the Durham area since December, 1976. It is dedicated to bringing books to readers of all interests and backgrounds.

What is a Teen Advisory Board?

A Teen Advisory Board is a group of teens dedicated to enhancing community and bookstore. Members help decide which books are ordered, read advanced copies of books, write book reviews, attend events, and more. Teens involved can help build and maintain a wonderful Young Adult book section, and build the stores engagement with the teen community.

How to Join

Applying to join the Teen Advisory Board is simple. Simply go to the Application page and fill out the form. Before signing up, make sure that you qualify by checking over the requirements.
